A week ago or so I publish a picture of me doing this job from another angle. I didn't realize at the the time that I had a shot from this perspective. If I'd have known that I did, I would have used it. I think it is a more interesting picture, so I thought you might enjoy seeing it. If you didn...

Mr. Barber recently tuned and repaired two keys on my piano. He did a wonderful job and I plan to have him back in six months for its next tuning!

As all of the previous posts will testify, Mr. Barber is very talented at his craft and will do whatever is necessary to ensure your piano is perfectly tuned. Our experience with Mr. Barber has been very unique with respect to the level of customer service he has provided our family. About us

Hi. I am Dick Barber. I am a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) as a member of the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG). The RPT certification is awarded to PTG members who successfully complete a number tests, both written and hands one. I am also a member to the Master Piano Technicians (MPT), another fine organization for piano technicians. I do mostly in home care of pianos -- pitch raising, tuning, repairs, regulation, installation and maintenance of the Piano Life Saver humidity control system. When I find a piano that needs a service which is outside of the scope of the services that I offer, I am happy to connect you with one of my  respected colleagues who will be able to give you the help that you need.
